Is PriceRest only a Turkish price monitoring tool?

No. PriceRest was founded in Türkiye, but it is a global price monitoring platform. About two thirds of the online stores it covers, more than 1,700 of them, are outside Türkiye, in markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Poland and Greece. Customers in 35 countries use PriceRest.

The confusion is understandable. PriceRest started with Turkish e-commerce, where it still monitors marketplaces such as Trendyol, Hepsiburada and n11, and one of its two offices is in Ankara. Since then the platform has grown into a multi-market product: its headquarters office is in Palo Alto, California, plans are priced in US dollars, and most new store coverage is added outside Türkiye.

The numbers below come from PriceRest’s own crawler infrastructure as of October 2026. A “ready-made” store means PriceRest already has a crawler that reads that store’s prices, sale prices, stock status and, where relevant, product variants.

Counts are distinct online stores with a dedicated PriceRest crawler. Global platforms such as the 20 Amazon marketplaces, eBay, Alibaba, Rakuten, Wayfair and Lazada are counted separately and come on top of these numbers. Competitors can also be discovered in any country through Google Shopping and Google Search.

The largest single markets outside Türkiye are the United States (274 stores), the United Kingdom (211), Australia (140), Germany (125), Hungary (92), Greece (91) and Poland (76).

Store names are trademarks of their respective owners. Listing a store means PriceRest can collect the prices it publicly displays; it does not imply a partnership with that store.

If a competitor you need is not covered yet, PriceRest builds a crawler for it. Each plan includes a set number of competitor websites, and additional websites carry a one-time setup fee. See pricing for details.

20 Amazon marketplaces

PriceRest monitors Amazon prices, sellers and reviews on 20 Amazon marketplaces, which makes it possible to compare the same product across countries or watch resellers on several Amazon stores at once.

Experience

What makes global price monitoring hard

Collecting a price from a website is easy. Collecting a price that can be compared fairly across 64 countries is not. These are the problems we solve most often when we add stores in a new market.

Lessons from running crawlers in 64 countries.

  • Tax. European stores show prices with VAT included, while most US stores show prices before sales tax. A fair comparison has to know which one it is reading.
  • Currency. The same product can be listed in euros, pounds, zloty, forints and dirhams. PriceRest stores the original currency and converts it with its currency management feature, so the original price is never lost.
  • Number formats. 1.299,00 in Germany is the same amount as 1,299.00 in the US. A crawler that guesses the format wrong is off by a factor of a thousand.
  • Location-based prices. Some large US and Australian retailers change prices by ZIP code, store or delivery region, so the crawler must request the right location.
  • Local marketplaces. In many countries the most important competitor is not Amazon but a local marketplace: Allegro in Poland, bol in the Netherlands, Skroutz in Greece, eMAG in Romania, noon in the Middle East, Trendyol in Türkiye.
  • Language. Product titles, sizes and units are written in the local language, which matters when matching your product to a competitor’s listing.

Product matching works across languages because PriceRest combines product codes such as GTIN, EAN and MPN with Google Shopping results, internal site search and AI image matching. Read how the product matching engine works.
